Cookie Policy
Effective date: 17 September 2026 · Operated by TheArchitect
This page lists every cookie and browser-storage key the Service uses and how to control them.
01 / What this covers
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and browser storage that TheArchitect uses. We keep this to the minimum needed to run the Service — we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
02 / Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you signed in and to secure your session (cookie names beginning with "sb-"). Because they are essential, they do not require consent.
03 / Preferences (browser local storage)
We store a few preferences in your browser’s local storage, not as cookies sent to a server:
- architect-theme — remembers your light/dark theme choice.
- architect-cookie-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential storage, so we do not ask again.
04 / Analytics and diagnostics
We use Sentry to capture errors and performance diagnostics so we can keep the Service reliable. This collects technical information about failures. If we introduce any non-essential analytics in future, we will only enable it after you consent through the cookie banner.
05 / Managing your choices
You can accept or decline non-essential storage using the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
